The summer season will soon be coming to a close (while the calendar might say so, South Florida begs to differ), and that means time to enjoy all that Miami has to offer in terms of beach, pool, boat excursions, and beyond. If you\’re squeezing in some last minute summer travels for Labor Day, bon voyage! It\’s time to pack up every swimsuit (preferably theres some neon in there) in your drawer and unapologetically do a few outfit changes in the day to get through them all.
I\’ve been hitting the pool in my building hard- taking the kids after school and enjoying some alone time when I have day offs from work and it\’s been wonderful. No complaints on this end. Coco and I are gearing up for a little weekend getaway to Sunset Key today and I\’m SO excited to enjoy some R&R and Key West adventures!

I\’ve worn this neon pink bathing suit from Target a few times already and I actually scored a neon orange bandeau top over the weekend, which I plan to take to Key West with me. I love the high waisted cut of the bottom and the bandeau top, which has a ton of support for a big breasted chica like myself!
One of the perks of living in South Florida is a never-ending summer, and having access to an amazing pool, means my kids and I never have to miss out on water fun. I\’m not going to lie, I am looking forward to sweater weather and pumpkin scented candles, but it IS nice to know, that I whenever I feel like laying out, and showing off a new two piece or one piece, I\’m an elevator ride away from taking in the SoFlo sun!

I keep beach accessories to a minimum. I like a good hat, spf 30, and some fun shades to go with my look, and trust me, I have a few! lol. You won\’t find me in heels or an extravagant cover up- I\’m all about getting to the nitty gritty of the suit and making that work with my outfit!
As I\’m writing this blog and packing my bag (yes, simultaneously bc that\’s what M.O.M.s do), I\’m laying out suits for the weekend with coverup that doubles as both! I can\’t wait to share with you what I\’ll be wearing- you\’ll have to stay tuned.
In the meantime, get your neon on and head to the nearest beach or pool and make a statement while you work on that golden tan. All of Miami will be watching!
