TREND ALERT: SEEING RED

Hi Squeezers! It looks like the last of the blonde hair shoots are making their way on the blog, and it\’s hard to believe I\’ve now been a brunette for a little over a month! I can\’t tell you how much fun I had as a blonde! I won\’t lie, it\’s A LOT of maintenance and unless you have the time, patience, and money (finding a good colorist to keep your hair healthy while it\’s getting stripped costs a pretty penny), I definitely recommend the change!

It was also fun to see how certain colors pop more with blonde hair, while some other colors seem to get washed out with the blonde. One of those colors that really popped with blonde, was red (I also happen to think it works great for brunettes as well). I LOVED the combination, and especially loved it with some bounce and va-va-voom waves in it.

I particularly love this floral red dress from Zara with the white print detailing!

We took this beauty for a spin on Española Way, an eclectic, Spanish style micro-neighborhood on Miami Beach, boasting cute little alley ways and buildings with restaurants and shops that are just begging to be photographed! My photographer, Lauren (@laurelcreative), instantly fell in love and together, we found some really picturesque spots to snap. Another thing I enjoy? Showing out-of-towners Miami nooks that were never on their radar. South Beach, Wynwood, and Coral Gables seem to be familiar favorites, but there are so many amazing and historical spots around the city that are lovely and unique- like Espanola Way!

Another combination I really love is turquoise with red! It was a no brainer for me to pair these gorgeous Kendra Scott statement earrings with the red dress. It gives the earrings a little extra oomph factor. What I love about this dress is that it\’s easy, with a hint of bohemian vibe because it\’s flowy and carefree.

The button down detailing is also a win/win for me with the minimalistic slit right in front. What do you guys think about the shoes? It was love at first sight when I saw these at Zara. They\’re very \’in-your-face\’ kind of platforms, but they\’re also somewhat of a neutral because I can wear them with so many pieces. I\’m even thinking about wearing them with some socks in the fall (I know some of you are cringing right now, but I dig that man repelling sock look, ha!).

If you\’ve seen my feed, well, you\’ve seen these heart shaped sunnies in more than a few photos because I love them! They instantly make me happy and really just scream FUN. Can you believe I got them on Amazon?!

Now for the most important question, did I ride this bike along Espanola Way?
