The fall season always bring crisper weather and fashionable trends that always leave us lusting for a bolder and upgraded wardrobe. I\’ve already got my eye on a few pieces that I need to compliment some fall basics I already have in my closet.
Fall trends are getting inspiration from all the decades- there\’s hint of the 70\’s, Cher Horowitz inspired tartan, dad sneakers, texturized velvet, and so much more!
I\’m excited to share some fall looks I shot while I was in NY for fashion week; this Foreer 21 look being one being one of them!
We took this look to the court- literally. I love stocking up on blouses for the fall and I fell in love with this mustard yellow number and its retro print. The retro print is a hint of that 70s trend I was talking about earlier. Bohemian doesn\’t always have to come in the form of a dress or bell bottoms, it can also be through unique prints and silhouettes.
As soon as I saw these navy and green tartan pants, I thought they would pair perfectly with the mustard blouse. It\’s the 70\’s meets the 90\’s in a marriage of fashion convenience. I love the combination of navy and mustard and these all compliment each other.
I could have paired this outfit with a bootie or a platform wedge, but it felt more organic and more \’me,\’ to pair it with sneakers. Plus, it keeps adding to that retro vibe, especially when you add a fenced in hand ball court!
